Solar PV Development

Development of solar PV will lead to jobs and investment in areas of the country that manufacture the parts that make up a PV system, in addition to locations that install the systems. This report shows that manufacturing and installation of PV systems benefits locations throughout the U.S., and particularly in places that need it the most. All but 5 states would receive at least $100 million in investment, based on the industry goals set forth in the PV Roadmap. Furthermore, the 20 states that would benefit the most from PV are states that have lost the most manufacturing jobs in the last few years.
