Agenda:
The purpose of the forum was to facilitate a discussion about the role renewable energy can play in California's energy future. Topics included a technical assessment of the untapped resource base within the state, policy options to increase renewable energy production on a distributed and utility scale, the inclusion of renewables in current energy legislation, and options for homeowners and businesses interested in investing in renewables.

Forum participants offered a variety of outlooks. Issues include:
  • Government perspectives on current energy legislation
  • Business / Investment opportunities
  • Technical potential for clean energy
  • Academic understanding of renewable energy
