Adovocates Promote NOx SIP Program

Georgians for Clean Energy, Southface Energy Institute, Southern Alliance for Clean Energy, and Renewable Energy Policy Project filed public comment on the development of an effective set-aside program for energy efficiency/renewable energy for the State of Georgia to incorporate in its Regional NOx State Implementation Plan. The comments include background information on energy efficiency/renewable energy set-asides, and the groups are in the process of preparing model code as a tool for further development of an energy efficiency and renewable energy set aside program tailored to Georgia's situation and needs.
