Adovocates Promote NO_x SIP Program

Georgians for Clean Energy, Southface Energy Institute, Southern Alliance for Clean Energy, and Renewable Energy Policy Project filed public comment on the development of an effective set-aside program for energy efficiency/renewable energy for the State of Georgia to incorporate in its Regional NO_x State Implementation Plan. The comments include background information on energy efficiency/renewable energy set-asides, and the groups are in the process of preparing model code as a tool for further development of an energy efficiency and renewable energy set aside program tailored to Georgia's situation and needs.
