The e7 Fellowship/Scholarship for Sustainable Energy Development (SED)

The e7 is a group of leading electricity companies from the G7 nations. In conjunction with its goal of playing an active role in protecting the global environment, and promoting the efficient generation and use of electricity, it is offering awards of up to $20,000 US per year for students pursuing Masters Degrees and up to $25,000 US per year for post-Doctoral Fellows, each for a two-year period. These awards are available to students who are citizens of developing countries and countries whose economies are in transition (see list of eligible countries on e7's web site), who are interested in continuing their studies and contributing to the body of knowledge in Sustainable Energy Development. They will be available commencing in the 2002 academic year, and can be used for tuition, books and living expenses.
