Rogerio,

I'm interested in the combustion of bark and wood from plantation grown
Eucalyptus, especially E. Camaldulensis. I have a client who is getting
rather high levels of ash from the bark from young E. Camaldulensis trees
(3-5 years) that is causing fouling problems in their fluidized bed boilers.

I would like to find out:

1. Who is burning bark and waste wood from eucalyptus and in what kind of
boilers? (I thought there were several in Brazil- Aracruz, Bahia Sul,
Champion, Klabin, ?) Is there someone I can contact?
2. The chemical composition of eucalyptus bark and wood ash. (Si, Al, Ti,
Fe, Ca, Ma, Na, K, P,S, Cl)
3. Any special problems or circumstances of burning eucalyptus, especially
for steam and power generation in pulp mills.
4. Articles or references for eucalyptus combustion. (English, Portuguese
or Spanish).

Thanks for your help.

Pode responder em portugues o espanol.

Muito obrigado.

Tom
