List protocol, Cross Posting, Off Topic Posts

Bioenergy List,

When posting to the bioenergy lists please observe the following simple 
protocol:

1. Post only topics that are germane to the list topic. Bioenergy@crest.org 
is intended as a general discussion of bioenergy topics.

2. Off topic posts. If you have an off topic comment to make to another 
list member please send it using private email.

3. Do not cross post to or from other lists. Identical messages posted to 
the other bioenergy lists -  stoves, gasification, digestion [anaeobic 
digestion], bioconversion [biofuels and chemicals] - make unwanted noise.

4. Using quotes in replies - quote only that portion of a message that you 
are responding to.

5. Bounced messages or failed addresses. Please inform me 
(tmiles@trmiles.com) of failed addresses so that we can determine if a 
server is down or remove an address from the list.

For seven years we have adopted a "minimum management" policy toward these 
lists to enable the free flow of useful information. Please respect the 
attention and bandwidth of other list members.
