Hello,
I have a couple questions. I have been reading this lists archives for
the last couple weeks now, and I have found alot of great
information. However, I cannot seem to access the current lists. the
newest I can find are september '99. I have some other questions regarding
biogas production and use, but I wanted to ask that first.
I have been reading alot about using biogas for cooking, heating,
refridgeration, and electrical generation, but where the heck does one find
the appliances that will run on biogas? Also, is there anyone in the US
who has successfully built a small biogas digestor? Perhaps similar to the
ones which use plastic bags as digestion chamber? I mean, what does one do
in the winter? I live in Nebraska, so I am thinking, "gee, wouldn't that
whole set up freeze come December or January?" It always seems like these
nice simple do'em your self digestors are all somewhere off in Cambodia, or
China, or Africa somewhere. I mean that's wonderfull for them, but I would
love to see some simple examples of digestors a little closer. Any body
have any suggestions? Thanks so much for your time, I do appreciate
it. Janet.
