DIG-L: Fwd: dry coffee from pig manure

DEFINITLY ! Power utilization or sales are the priority when you use an engine.

Normally the consumption or sales of the heat produced from a biogas plant is a barrier in the economy of the plant, in hot countries (unless we have some local cooling need).

I’m happy for this Brazilian coffee producer, because perhaps he has the possibility to locally consume this heat and may be, he can choose if he want to produce any power.

Now it start’s another problem, when we compare the price of a kW produced in a biogas plant, with the one produced by wood firing. It depend very much of the constrains and environmental protection legislation of each country.

That's why is very hard to give definite answers with so little material on the desk...

Regards,

Luís Ferreira
