DIG-L: IBS for fish industry

From: "Jeff Forward" <forward@together.net>
>I recently received this question and was wondering if anyone on this list
>serve has any experience with digesting fish waste from a fish plant.

A thought on the design of an integrated bio-system
(http://www.ias.unu.edu/proceedings/icibs/ibs/ibsnet) would be
(a) filter fish wastes to get press cake and liquid portions
(b) use liquid protion for biogas production and biogas to generate energy
needed for operations
(c) use press cake to make fish meal or pellets
(d) use/treat digested effluent with aquatic plants/algae
