DIG-L: Metanogenic GMO's

Dear Digestion Fellows,

First of all my sincerest wishes for a good year 2001 for all.

I'm very much interested to be up dated with regards to new scientific
developments about  genetically modified metanogenic bacteria. I'm looking
for some articles/references where can be recognised the possibilities of
increasing the duplication time of metanogenic bacteria, through genetic
modifications.
