DIG-L: Oregon: Proposed 1200 tpd Manure Digester
Notice in the Oregonian newspaper today indicates that State of Oregon will
issue $11 million in General Obligation Alternative Energy Project Bonds to
"TMF Biogas LLC for a 1200 ton per day manure digester and electricity
generating project at Boardman, Oregon. Portland general Electric will be
the initial operator of the digester. The biogas project will convert
manure to methane gas for power generation and fiber to be used as a soil
amendment."
A hearing will be held March 28 at the Office of Energy, Salem, OR at 9:00 am.
