Re: DIG-L: Anaerobic digestion of whey

I am aware of a commercial scale installation. " Borculo Whey Products" at
Borculo in The Netherlands.
This plant was constructed in 1992 by M/s. Paques B.V. who have an office at
Balk ,The Netherlands.
This plant has 2 UASB digestors of 590 M3 capacity. which handled the COD
load of 10000 kg/day.

I visited this plant in March 1994 & the results were excellant then.

Your Q. no. 2 Adding whey to Manure isn't very clear. Do you propose to
Anaerobically Digest the Manure, What is the Sourse . Kindly Elaborate
