One source that is commonly used by public agencies, private
industries, and academia here in the U.S. is:

US Department of Agriculture / Natural Resources Conservation Service /
National Engineering Handbook, Part 651 - Agricultural Waste Management
Field Handbook, Chapter 4, pgs 4-12 ~ 4-13. link:

Subject: BioC: Pig slurry_characteristics

Dear all,

I'm working on a planning phase of a project, for the implementation of a
global wastewater treatment solution, for a region with a high
concentration of pig farms.

To make an assessment of the pig slurry characterization work, already
performed, I would like to have international references about average
figures, concerning pig slurry characteristics, to compare .

I would be very thankful, if you could help me to find, articles, reports or
experiences, where it could be possible to check TS, Nt , CODt and CODt/TS ,
CODt/Nt .

Thank you in advance, for your kind attention.

Luís Ferreira
