Re: DIG-L: IC50 for methanogens

Dear all,

I have some figures about it. It comes from "short course on design municipal wastewater treatment plants" of Prof. Dr Surapol Saipanich from the Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok. I did not verify this figures and I do not know if it is for methanogen or acetogen microorganisms.

Subject: DIG-L: IC50 for methanogens

Dear Friends,
I need to know IC50(50% Inhibition Concentration) values of the following chemicals for the Methanogenic Bacteria.

1. Acetone
2.Iso Propyl Alcohol
3.Methyl Acetate
4.Hexane
5.Dimethyl Sulfoxide
6. Dimethyl formamide

Does anybody know any University/Research Institue/ Industrial Labs conducting such studies.

I would appreciate receiving a feedback .

Best Regards,

Avadhut Bapat
