DIG-L: Low Cost Digesters (was Various)

G'day All,

As an academic (in an ivory tower?) I had not yet considered codes (but
I am aware of some from my engineering training). In fact I think (and I
am open to comments) that a plastic bag will be far less hazard than a
steel or concrete tank as the gas will be less confined and there will
be no "shrapnel". Occupational Health and Safety issues will of course
have to be dealt with.

It continues to amaze me that civilisation has survived for several
thousand years without all the regulations we have today - it just
becomes so hard to do anything different (even if it is a good idea!).
