Subject: want to know about AD

I am subramani from Trichy,Tamilnadu,India.I had finished my
degree,  bachelor of    engg.in mechanical.I read your web on AD and I am interested
in  learning about anaerobic digester, its   types, anaerobic  digestion, microbiology of digestion and technology behind it.

I am producing starch from cassava in small scale. I am in a idea of  putting an aerobic digester to produce biogas and to produce  electricity[1000kw/h].

Can I use cassava as the digester feedstock?  If so,what type of digester should I go for?  How much should the feedstock be to produce 1MW/h?  How much biogas should be produced?  What would be the approximate investment in it?

Please reply.Thank you.
