Dear all, BOD analysis indeed should give a good impression on the biogaspotential. Some components do degradate less (or more) in anaerobic conditions, so a test on biogaspotential can be usefull. If you don't have the equipment and sludges to perform anaerobic tests, BOD analysis will give you a good impression. We perform such tests in our Biogas Lab (http://www.platformvergisting.be see Biogas Lab in english). The principles are explaned on the website.
