I am looking for a cost analysis for a large scale anarobetic digester...I would also appreciate any info available for a 300 tons per day operation.

Shufen,

If you are interested in economic information and performance data for various types of medium to large anaerobic digesters using a variety of manure feedstocks, I would suggest Phil Lusk.  He writes the manual of results for USDA and EPA and publishes the current state of the art information regarding farm digestion technology.

If you have a specific situation in mind, a cost study can be done with the feedstock, water quality, environmental concerns and siting issues related to that project.  Wright-Pierce state of the art information from a recent on site review of digester technology in Europe as well as being involved in many domestic projects in the USA.  They are who we use for large scale projects worldwide.

Write to Mike Giggey at Wright-Pierce and ask him your technical questions.  If you need an intermediary for fuel acquisition, siting issues, etc, we may be able to help.

Mike can be reached via MDG@Wright-Pierce.com
