There is a company in Germany (www.atz-evus.de) which had a research project about thermal and pressure treatment of slaughterhouse waste and afterward digestion in a biogas plant. As far as I know, there is nearly no H2S in the biogas because it might be react with the iron in the blood. You could ask Mr. Ralph Schneider (rschneider@atz-evus.de) about it.
