Trivia blast!! For several years now it has cost the U.S. mint more to
make a penny that the value of the penny itself. Every so often someone
brings up the idea that we (taxpayers) should not subsidize the production
of a coin that is worth less than the cost of making it and that people
lose by the thousands. A waste of good copper!!
