Why? Electronic gadgets are great & wonderful, but old habits are hard
to break. I don't even want to think about teaching anyone else who may
drive my car (wife, mother) how to read the e-meter. As long as its a
conversion and not a completely custom build, why not use what's already
there, will look good, and works? Why mess up the dash with "stuff"
(important as it is) and make a clean dash look like an airplane?
There's nothing more anoying in the dashboard of my volvo than that huge
clock that is broken and sitting at 12:00.
