Hammer vs. Hex

I use a hex crimp for all my cables. I made it out of scrap from my
offcuts bucket.
I used two 3 inch lengths of 1/4 inch thick flat stock and cut and filed a hex
crimp into them. With the addition of some guide plates and slots I now have a
hammer operated crimp, simply insert into a handy 6 inch bench vise, and
release some aggression on it with a 2 1/2 lb club hammer.
