Sparrow Factory Starting Up
I talked yesterday with a representative of Corbin-Pacific, manufacturers
of the Sparrow EV. She informed me that office personnel had moved into
the new factory and were operating "normally" after the usual moving in
confusion. More importantly for people like I who have deposits on early
Sparrow EV's, she said that production start-up was to start on Monday,
January 5th. This is not full-blown production, but getting the
machinery up and tested. So it appears that the long-promised goal of
January 1998 start of production will be met.
