Gary Flo's post about the conductive charging equipment
found at marina's is very accurate.  We used to plug
in at least once weekly to re-charge our on-board
batteries on our sailboat.  I trusted the "twist lock"
plugs with the water tight collars on them -- even
in the rain.

In fact when I needed to replace the aging plug
inlet on my EV, I simply went to West Marine and
purchased all new "Marinco" brand water tight twist
lock plugs.  They work great.
