I guess I thought they were interchangeable terms. Is there a distinction
between a serial port and an RS-232? I just acquired a Hewlett-Packard
1000CX palmtop, and was thinking of trying to use it to collect EV data.
(Still trying to obtain the serial cable and owners' manual; anyone know
where flash memory for these palmtops can be bought cheap?)
