NOT TRUE!  Battery need to be gassed every time.  For most lead-acid batteries:
Gassing voltage = 2.37V/cell x 60 = 142.2V  At this point the batteries are
80% charged.
Finish voltage = 2.5V/cell = 150V.  Genesis specs say to charge to 165V
occasionally.
