I wouldn't get too excited about it. The comments were made in the =
context
of a bunch of quick, tease interviews on the Babylon 5 set with the =
various
actors. It was done as a special intro to the current season. All the =
actors
were seen as they were busy getting made up and into costume. Then they
individually got a few seconds each to make snappy comments on the B5 =
plot
line and the background of the story being set in "our galaxy's future."

I can't give you an exact quote but it was something along the lines of:

"...and all you people who are so excited about electric cars..., well
they just never caught on."

And that is all the longer it was, at least by the time the show was =
edited
and aired. I have no idea if there was any more to it that got left on =
the cutting
room floor.

I got the impression from Furst's body language that he thought it a =
witty
comment. I did not get the impression he had even thought it through
enough to wonder if anyone would take it as an attack upon those
concerned with EV's in particular or the environment in general.
