Hi  All;

   Been following the thread on gas/water, and who'se cheaper.  Guess it
depends on where your at.  It would be a challange to figure it out in REAL cost
 ,
subsidies, profit, avaibility.  Keeping our Military afloat could be charged off
  to the
cost of oil, as to keeping it flowing.

    The PROFITS are a REAL threat, as everybody over there in the Mid-East has
the bucks to buy the bangs that could raise hell with world peace.  If there was
little demand for oil, the problem area wouldn't  be. They would be still riding
camels, with little threat to anybody!  Back home if some of our finest minds we
 re
working on Nuclear, and solving its' problems, we could go further.  Keeping our
resources in the good old USA.  Sad to say, most people are skared spitless of
nukes, largly because they don't UNDERSTAND 'em.  Not saying that they are
the panacia for the worlds problems, neither are electric cars, but they sure co
 uld
HELP!  A good cheap to ride 150mph electric RR system around the country
could reduce the oil demands, and getya there faster, too.  Charge plugs at the
stations, of course.

   Gas is cheap, oil companies make a fortune, everyones' driving fuelish
vehicles, and everybodies happy!  Right?  NO!! I'm not happy, and it's nice to s
 ee
a few folks in the List that feel that way, and carry on the R and D.  on EV's N
 ow
the race development is going on, and EV improvments are daily.  Thanks Guys!
