I am planning on turning a VW Bug into an EV.  I have yet to get any parts
or
even the car.  I plan on finding a car with major engine problems, so I can
get it cheap.

Has anyone heard of someone or attempted tackling this task?  I would
appreciate any info and advice before I start.

Also approximately how much $$$ am I going to need to put into the retrofit
(not including the orginal car.)
