hello all,
i think moderation is a bad idea. when inappropriate things get posted it
promotes discussion and that is what we are here for.
when a moderator just 86s a post the group does not get to perform it's
collective judgment and comment. also we get posts that are only through a
moderators personal filter, perhaps removing some of the richness and
livliness.
i have posted some inappropriate things to lists before and LEARNED from
my subsequent flaming.
