Carolina EV Challenge, April 4

The Carolina EV Challenge is going on this week.  The Challenge
is a multi-event competition for high school teams and their
converted EVs.  The Challenge culminates with the autocross
competition on Saturday April 4 at the North Carolina State
Fairgrounds in Raleigh. Racing begins at 9am, finishing about noon,
followed by the awards ceremony.

EVers and the general public are invited to come out and watch
the cars run, view the commercial and non-commercial EVs on display,
talk shop, etc. (you can stop by the flea market and pick up
some cheap bolt cutters to make Dube'-special crimper, too).
