Re: PWM motor controller info wanted

There are a number of kits that do a minimum of 10 amps and MOSFET's can
be paralled with 9 ohms on the gates to give 100's of amperes. And bec
of the freq is usually 5 k or less you can use conventional diods for the
flyback circuit. Surplus elecronic house usually have ultra fast diodes
for nearly give away prices. the kit I got from you do it Electronics
has a separate Vcc for the electronics and can place up to 100 volts on
the MOSFETs to drive the motor. Kit usually go for 10 to 30 bucks and
add to it what you need for your design. I use mine for battery chargers
since it doesn't get hot when dropping voltage. I that case , flyback
circuit is useless. In motors where there is counter EMF flybacks save
MOSFET's and increase overall efficiency.
Get one that uses a dual time base to keep freq fixed and can do true
Pulse width modulation.
