Mazda Scratchbuilt Plans

500A will not give you much torque.  Remember that current gives you
torque and voltage gives you speed.  How about running 39 optimas with
with the 13 tripled up sets.  This will give you 156v.  156v should get
you up to about 100mph.  And you will have much greater range of
controllers to pick from.  If you went with 36 optimas tripled up, you
could use Zapi H3 controller to get regen.

I've run my kostov up some pretty good hills out here in Colorado with
no problems at all.  I think you'll have to stop excelerating before the
Kostov overheats.  You will probably not use more than 26HP while
driving at normal speeds, and the Kostov is rated for 30HP continuous.
Also the specs on the motor are really conservative.
