Actually, I was looking for someone to sell me on a good way to go to
a multiple-speed (i.e. not 1-speed) tranny set-up, preferrably
standard. Maybe my original post was unclear. I looked at the truck
(doors locked) and it is in fact set up for a column shifter, though
my guess is that it only has one drive setting for the AC system. My
ideal situation would be to add a standard tranny, thus abandoning the
column shifter for a clutch and stick. I was hoping someone else had
done such a thing, and could assure me that it's not all that
difficult.
