Re: Insulation rating



The GE motor catalogs say they use class H insulation. However, they make a
*lot* of custom motors, and use whatever the buyer specifies.

BTW, I gave the insulation letter classes because they are more common. UL has
lately started using number codes, which are just the temperatures (class H =
class 180 = 180 deg.C max hot spot etc.).
