This seems to be my purchase opinion, also.  At $210 each, I would buy two
right now.  At $500, I would buy one before the end of the year.  Next year
would probably see a repeat order, maybe more.
I would also buy some smaller motors, if prices were on a similar scale.
If Bill Neil has failed to produce, why don't someone else take an order?
What about it, Eric?  You need at least one initial order to see how the
business will work.  At the price Mr. Neil quoted, or somewhere close, you
could easily get a commitment for 30 or more motors.
In addition to the Chinese, I'll bet a motivated importer could find good
deals on Czech or Russian motors.  I saw Czech aircraft engines selling at
very low prices until US distributors took over the sales and quadrupled the
prices.
