Although it seems like a good idea, I doubt it would ever get standardized
because of the varieties of pack voltages. Also the risk of getting shocked
wold be scary. And most things would not like it when the voltage sags..
towards the end of the range the headlights would dim seriously under
acceleration.. I'm sure some things that are normally different from car to
car will change, like blower motors, but things that are standardized like
headlights are likely to stay 12v... One thing that I think is very likely
is the exclusive use of LEDs for turn signals, parking lights, and brake
lights... heck, they're worth it just for reliability alone :) I'm hoping
LEDs will bring back the beloved sequential turn signal :)
