hehe, well I was only there on saturday, so I missed the real competition..
there is a videotape of it that I haven't seen yet, but apparently we beat
the red porsche by a very small amount in the acelleration contest, dunno
if it was 1/4 or 1/8 mile. The porsche is 144v and so is our RX7, and
they have comparable motors, so obviously DC motors don't HAVE to have
transmissions :)
