The Solectria purchased by the Portland, OR Dept/Env.Quality office has
had major problems (charger I think), rendering the vehicle unusable. The
people that championed it and went to bat to get it purchased have been
besmirched (love that word), and winced when I suggested that they
participate in "EV Awareness Day" put on by the OEVA. There is now
generally a bad taste associated with EVs at DEQ, thanks to Solecria.

I'm glad Solectria has done the hard work they've done, and put all those
EVs on the road, but they need to treat every customer like their only
customer. Not just those with grant money in hand.
