EVers to Attend National Conference on GREEN TAXATION,

EVers in the Seattle area, namely myself Steve Lough
and Warren Pugh, also of SEVA will attend the up-comming
national convention on Green Taxation.

As I looked over the long list of attendees and invitees,
I did not see a strong contingent of transportation types.
So I took it uppon my self to convince our SEVA to help
us attend the conference, and put our TWO CENTS in as it
were...

I therefore INVITE your suggestions and comments:

My list so far is very short and to the point, and mostly
ideas which OTHER states have already addopted to HELP the
cause of Electric Vehicles.... to include:

Driving privlages in the HOV lanes with only ONE person in the car.
Reduced License excise taxes on electric cars.
Reduced rates on power rates.
Outright grants and subsadies...

GOD only knows from recent posts, that the OIL industry and CAR
industry has goten ITS SHARE of tax breaks !!

Now its MOTHER EARTH'S T U R N !!!

GREENING STATE TAXES

at the Mountaineers Building, 300 3rd Ave.

Sponsored by the: Energy Outreach Center

The conference will be a unique opportunity for
state and local policy makers and advocates to participate
in two days of panel discussions by experts, strategy
workshops on how to move environmental tax
reforms from theory to reality, and share experiences

There is still time to join this very important conference.
