I plan to use Optimas (or similar technology) in all my conversions.
This vehicle would be just for errands (5 mile range max.)

I think I need to stay with a three wheeled vehicle, so I can follow the
motorcycle guidelines.
The purpose of this "practice vehicle" is not to just save money. I
don't mind spending money on projects that are worthwhile. I just would
rather practice on a $2K vehicle than $10K+ vehicle. (As long as the end
result is something that I'd use.)

I've been doing this for over a year now! I'm getting a little itchy!
I'm not confident enough here in Minnesota without the major support of
the West Coast EV companies.
