Thank you for the very kind words, Bob. Although my 01/30
advice to Gene Dunnam in Florida (who had just purchased a
used S-10 conversion) was based upon many years of personal
experience, in all fairness, we have heard these same words of
advice periodically on the EVL from Mike Brown and Shari Prange
of Electro Automotive, Gary Flo of InnEVations, and the good
folks at Wilde EVolutions, KTA, and many other fine organizations
and individuals (forgive me, please for not mentioning everyone by
name!)

I just thought it was time to restate some of the more common
mistakes made during battery replacements and conversions, for
the sake of safety, reliability and the continued growth of our still-
emerging industry. Newcomers like Gene Dunnam with their "can
do" attitudes and willingness to seek advice, are precisely the kind
of people who deserve our support and encouragement.
