Stirring Controversy again

Well here I go again, stirring up trouble. (My second most favorite
passtime).
I want to challenge the notion that flooded L-A batts. have the "memory
effect". Our daily commute in our EV is around 10 miles. sometimes as low
as 6. I religiously charge each trip to home, so we potentially have a
full charge at any given time. (Don't comment on ineffiencies, got that
covered) In the fall when we had a week of 60's temps, I did a range test
and got 36 miles before I ran into the power loss prob. A few days ago I
got to drive a relatively longer trip of 31 miles and just made it home
with not much to spare. Oh by the way this was in the AM after night time
temps of 20's which says my batts were cold. Now my thoughts on all this
hipe of memory looks like I should never been able to do this after the
many trips before maxing at 14 miles with charging in between. Another
thought I have against this notion is what about Regen? Does not regen
charge at every opportunity you get? Making apparent short trips. This
would hurt you if the memory effect were true, so I don't see any factual
base to this notion, so prove me wrong. (or try to)
