Have you considered using fiber optics
powered and signalling sensors?

Having worked for years with industrial
sensors and controls, mixing high voltage
DC with low voltage DC is not good.

Fiber optics sensors eliminate ground
loop problems, eliminate accidental
cross overs between systems and
reduce explosion hazards.


e.g. individual battery voltage or temp. sensors:

                                     cables
>From battery---- Sensor<---------------- Light source
                  +++ at        ----------------> Signal to EV-100
                         Battery
