I think I am beginning to see what you are doing.
When I was talking about data formats, I assumed you are sending all this data
(time, date, vpro, ipro, etc.) all over the SAME interface. It might be a
serial RS-232, or 8-bit parallel, or some other format; but all the data is
passed sequentially along this path. If this is the case, then a long stream
of undifferentiated numbers separated by commas is very likely to get
mis-interpreted due to noise, software bugs, or other problems.
Now I think you are assuming that time, date, vpro, ipro, etc. are all
DIFFERENT PINS on the EV-100 bus. If this is the case, then there is no
ambiguity. A device only needs to look at the vpro pin, and it can be
absolutely sure that any data on this pin is ONLY vpro, the propulsion pack voltage.
Is this right?
