Curbside EV charging/parking

Just a couple days ago, someone posted a comment
about the "difficulty" of getting cubside EV charging
installed. The message said that there is only one such
curbside charging station in the US.

Well, there are at least two other ones that I'm aware of.
In the City of Santa Monica, if you go down the 1100
block of Montana Street, (1101 Montana St, CA 90403)
you'll find not one, but *two* chargers (one Magnacharger,
one Avcon conductive) right at the curb next to two prime
parallel, streetside parking spaces marked "EV parking only".

However, seeing as this is the only "curbside" installation
I'm aware of in the LA area, clearly, the preferred approach is
with standard "head in" parking spaces.

(Then again....if you count regular 120 volt outlets, there are
many thousands of them in downtown areas and shopping
centers that install x-mas lights to try and boost ambience
and sales during certain times of the year...if you are satisfied
getting only 3-10 miles/hour of charge)
