The thing to remember is that a vac booster modulates the amplified braking 
force (hydraulic line pressure) in relation to foot pressure. You probably 
could use an electrical device to increase the hydraulic pressure to the 
brakes, but without some type of feedback to the pedal the brakes would 
either be ON or OFF, neither condition exactly what you probably are looking 
for. If you wish to eliminate the vacc pump but still retain PB, why not look 
into a GM Hydroboost unit that runs off the PS pump ( assuming that you are 
running PS that is). Other wise I would stick with the vac system for 
simplicity. Regards David Chapman.
