Hi Peter,
This is not a hoax!!!  All petrol stations in Australia have had
warnings about mobile phones next to their pumps for quite a few
years... maybe 5 or more?  I've never heard of an actual incident
happening though.

I'm surprised the USA hasn't heard of this yet!
