IMHO, I used to love Sony. Now I wouldn't buy one. They all seem to have a
hard time reading my home made CDs, and I like to make custom mixes. Their
tuners never were any good (who cares), and they always seem to screw up at
least one major user interface issue. I've had one fail in the CD loading
mechanism, but the warranty replacement was no trouble.
I am now using Alpine, it's much better at reading custom CDs. It could be
better at reading scuffed CDs, and it also has some UI issues.
I wish some manufacturer would hold on to a design long enough to let it be
a mature reliable design. Unfortunatly the market demands changes. :-/
