has a great 3 page article by Scott Cornell and Sparkz.
"How To Make Battery Cables Cheap But Good"
A step-by-step approach.
Cut copper tube 1 inch section flatten over cable solder and drill add heat shrink
cover etc..
But get the copy there specifics and advice you may need and nice tips & pictures.
